 Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Our employee assistance program (EAP) includes services in counselling, psychological assessment and a referral system for employees and their dependents. It is a confidential service that intends to help employees manage any personal or emotional issues that may be interfering with their job performance and affecting workplace behaviours. Our EAP deals with a wide spectrum of emotional and behavioral issues that affect employees, from personal to marital relationships, self-motivation to workplace stress, and mood disturbances to substance abuse. An EAP plays a preventative role by addressing emotional issues of employees before they cause disruptions in the workplace, or lead to a crisis. This may be as a result of a major event such as a sudden death, a bank robbery, an industrial accident or a suicide attempt.
