HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) - 72 Hours
PEP(Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is an antiviral treatment given to individuals to reduce the chance of seroconverting due to a potential HIV infection.
PEP has been shown to be highly effective with 72 hours if given early after a high risk exposure, ie unprotected intercourse or needle stick injury.
